Smudge proof!
These are probably the best pens I’ve ever used. 10/10! It dries super quickly and does not smudge, all while writing beautifully.

I really like this company’s journals, so I thought I would try out their new pens. I am so glad I did! The pens are totally cute and they write really well. If you journal, you know that a light-weight pen with a smooth flow of ink is really important and these definitely exceded my expectations! They make journaling a breeze and they spark joy while doing it because they are so pretty. The price point is great too, so I plan to buy a few sets to keep on hand to give with journals as gifts.

Functional and Aesthetic
These are reasonably priced, aesthetically pleasing, and overall: functional.The ink dries relatively quickly, the design is simple, and the pen itself feels smooth and soft.Ease of use: The flow and ease of writing are the perfect in-between. These pens don’t easily glide like with liquid or gel, which also means they don’t leave ink blots, yet they aren’t too grainy or rough when writing, either. Balanced.The colors are trending, bold matte shades in line with the Anecdote product line.The quantity provides value for price – I experienced several pens in the batch that have ink that fades in and out while using. I think this is a small hinderance when there are multiple pens in the pack.I will buy these again. 3.75 stars

Very nice pens
I love these pens! They are very comfortable to hold while writing. The ink is smooth to write with and has a quick drying time. The pen colors are very pretty, but as a quick note, the ink color for all the pens, is black. Just an FYI. The red plastic ball point protection covering is difficult to remove! But overall, an amazing gel pen!! For 12 pens, this is an incredible value!

Love the colors & smooth writing
These gel pens are so pretty. I love the muted colors and they coordinate so well with my olive anecdote planner. The pens write smoothly. My only complaint was that it was slightly difficult to remove the red stuff that protects the pen tip. Once I got that off, I really enjoyed using them. All of the pens have black ink.

Smooth and sturdy
I’m a bit *obsessed* with pens, so trying these was exciting. I used them for list-making, idea writing, and of course a bit of doodling. The ink glides across the paper smoothly, and there was very little smearing. So far, there has been no spillage or leaking of ink. I’m planning to take most of the pens to work – being in a shared office and also a classroom, having unique looking pens will make it easy to figure out which ones are mine, and they write really nicely so I’ll be glad to have something reliable that isn’t my usual felt pen. I do wish the ink came in a variety of colors, but maybe this is something the company will look into as they continue to test new products!

Not a smooth writing experience
I have previously used pilot pens and thought I’d give these a try because of the good reviews and the more appealing look. They do look nice but they are not ergonomic (where you hold the pen is hard and perfectly round) and they are pretty rough to write with, as they drag against the paper a bit when you write. Sadly, won’t be buying these again.
