Excellent Facial Cleanser So Far

Works great and an amazing price but not “unscented”
Ordered this looking for a slightly cheaper option than aveeno since store brands of aveeno have been nixed. I like the wash and how it leaves my skin feeling and though the bottle appears small there is a ton in there! The smell is not my favorite, it’s like washing your face in your grandma’s old lotion or some odd scent even though it says unscented. May or may not buy again since you can’t beat the price and my skin is pretty happy. Just not sure about the smell on my face :P.

Great face wash!
I really like this face wash. It FEELS cleansing. I regularly use Cera Ve, the kroger version of that, or Native. This feels actually cleansing compared to the other brands. The formula is thick and a little goes a long way, so I don’t feel the need to use as much. It’s effective, moisturizing, the bottle is sturdy and strong, and it’s simple to apply and use!

It cleanses and leaves skin soft
I needed a new face wash and for various reasons didn’t want to support CeraVe anymore. This is just like the CeraVe wash but less expensive. I actually like it better. It has a little bit of exfoliating action and it’s also creamy and feels nice on my skin. It gets all of my make up off.

Not Effective By Itself
This cleanser may be moisturizing, but it is not very effective. After applying and rinsing it off (twice), a distinct layer of creamy residue and makeup remains on my skin. This means the cleanser has lifted and combined with the natural oils and makeup, but isn’t rinsed away with water alone. Using it with a washcloth is better, but then the residue stains the cloth. Either with or without a washcloth, I have to follow up with a separate cleanser to get the residue off of my skin. By itself, it’s not effective at cleansing nor exfoliating. I’m using it paired with a second cleanser.

Amazing Amazon Basics Face Products
This face cleanser is a good purchase. It cleanses your face nicely, no scent, does not lather but you dont need the lathering because that’s just an additive, its comparable to Olay’s cleanser and I have used that so I wouldn’t bother spending the extra on Olay when you can use this. And I love Olay. I use their night cream but I also use an Amazon face cream. In fact, I have also used Amazon’s Apricot Scrub which is excellent and the price is much lower than name brands & also the Morning Fresh face cleanser which is really nice. You can buy all 3 face cleansers for less than $20.
