Buying a specialty item like an infuser takes a a lot of thought, especially when there are so many choices. When I decided to purchase.the Ediwhip 2.0 I was confident I had made the right choice! It has every option I want and even some I didn’t know I wanted. The Decarboxylation feature setting is perfect! I have always used the Edi box made by the same company and now it’s a setting on the infuser itself and activates the cannabinoids perfectly. after an extremely thorough search, I am confident that this is the best infuser on the market. I use it nearly every day which speaks to a stability. No member of the family or guest stopping by ever smell it, it contains the pungent of the herb you are infusing completely.!!!

Documentation is lacking
I have used this one time, and as I fumbled through the minimal directions, I was ultimately successful in decarbing my weed. However, the pictures on Amazon portray a “cookbook”, which is an exaggeration and I would strongly disagree, as the whole “pamphlet” is 21 pages long, mostly about the device, which is cool I guess. Just a bit misleading between the pictures and reality. It would be most helpful if there were a diagram of what parts were to fulfill what purpose. Gives good guidance on the decarb process, but users will need to purchase a real cookbook. I’m still evaluating good resources for cooking edibles only, not interested in combining weed into everyday meals, but I digress. 😉

Not bad for the price
This item is not really difficult to use however the recipe book that it comes with is a bit misleading and only works depending on the amount and quality of product you would like to make. If you purchase this do yourself a favor and toss the recipe book and just use Google for some good quality recipes to meet your specified needs. Otherwise for the cost it was simple to use, simple to clean and doesn’t take up all lot of room to store. All in all a good product.

The first unit I bought stopped working after 6 months. I reached out to the company and they replaced the unit, no charge. 5 stars for that! However I’m still trying to work out the presets. The preset for decarb is 1 hour 20 mins at 240F and butter for 2 hours at 160F. Before trying this machine I used the old butter/water method in my slow cooker with powerful results. I decarb at 225 for 20-30 min and cooked at 200F for 2 to 3 hours. My success with this unit has been disappointing. I don’t trust the decarb setting and will be simply using my oven as in the past. The 160F setting for butter is too low. It’s a shame I have to spend hard earned money with product while fine tuning this machine.
