ALL GELS LOOSE, “NOT” STICKING TOGETHER
My first impressions: the fish gel capsules (180) were loose in its packaged container. No sticky gels! No smell! I added “Silca Gel Desiccant” packets to reduce the moisture that can get into jar after breaking the seal. The seal was indented making me feel like there was a slight vacuum seal in the jar. I took two immediately upon breaking the seal. No orange flavor as of yet. But, my taste buds could be old since I am a very senior gentleman. I also purchased a different brand of fish gels to try simultaneously.I have heart disease. I have calcification and Atherosclerosis. I am not hoping for a miracle. I am trying to keep my heart and vessels from getting worse. Type 2 diabetes caused my problems. It is in the family line. I think most inviduals who have heart disease are either pre-diabetic or have diabetes type 2. It is just my opinion. Father, older brother died from heart disease, and my younger brother found out he has ‘Afib.’ He is 6 years younger than me. I told him that he was most likely pre-diabetic.Some people have difficulty to admit that we are NOT perfect. Health does change as we get older. Once you are into your 50’s, it is prudent to have GP, a Cardiologist, and a Nephrologist (kidney).I have all three conditions now: diabetes 2, heart disease, chronic kidney disease. The Trifecta in medical deficiencies. Do not feel sorry for me. My intent is to help others before getting close to not waking up. That was what my cardiologist said to me after wearing a heart monitor for 24 hours. He told me my heart stopped for one to two seconds and my heart rate dropped to 34 BPS., for a few seconds. He said some people just do not wake up with that low of a heart rate.

Defective product
Update: Ocean Blue reached out and provided a full refund. Because of this I’ve upgraded my review from 1 to 4 stars.I’ve ordered this several times. The most recent arrived as a solid blob that could not be separated even after I cut the bottle open. Obviously this bottle is defective. Amazon has chosen to ignore my repeated attempts to arrange a return-even after I sent them photographs of the blob.

seems like high quality brand, so far so good, I dont feel weird using it, I dont notice fish
Pricy, but I can take this without issue. Some brands make me feel “off”. My 70 something years old mom shared some of this with me to try when I told her I couldnt find one that worked for me. I found that I could take it no problem, so I went forward with ordering some for me.I am used to eating fish, especially canned varieties like sardines, various tuna, mackeral. So fish taste or burps dont bother me unless it is pervasive. This is low to no burping or taste to me. Others who are more sensitive may sense otherwise. But I really dont notice anything with this.I like the orange added to it. Some use mint, and while I like mint, the internal cooling sensation is weird.It has about half the amount that my doctor wants me to take. So most days I take double the dose, and other days I use a less preferred brand as my second dose.It will be awhile before I get labs done, but I am hoping for some improvement. In the meantime I will consistently take this (and have ordered enough to get me through a few months), and perhaps will come back to update.

Capsules all fused together
My fish oil was sent to me with the capsules all fused together. I try to separate them and ended up with the capsule broken. I had to throw the whole bottle away. To expensive to pay for useless pills.
