I bought this one … before the price went up and lordddddd this helps out alot! me and my daughter use it ,its not the best smelling shampoo but your hair scalp will love you ! I wash my hair with this first then use my reg shampoo and conditioner after to help with the weird smell this shampoo has. Keep in Mind this shampoo is super strong one lil move your eyes will BRUNNNNNNN like ALOT make sure if your using it or kids have them keep their eyes closed. By the next day you wont have flakes or ichy scalp.

Really works on scalp issues
I’ve had scalp issues for ages. It’s not sold in CA because some lawyer sued about the tar. I’ve used it for almost 45 years. I only need it once or twice a month. Be careful of being in the sun 24 hours after using this product or you could get sunburned. I always wear a hat. It does leave the hair very clean and itch free. The smell is better than a lot of the other tar shampoos. It’s going to smell some.

The Best of the Best
There is no better product for scalp psoriasis. I’ve used Denorex coal tar shampoo since 2015. It provided 100% relief (flakes, itch) during this time. On top of that, hair looked great (smooth, healthy shine, and good body) and the menthol made every morning shower refreshing. I also found Denorex to keep my hair black, helping me age well. Denorex gave me a 10-year run of living life with confidence without the need to run to costly Clobetasol. I ran out of Denorex at the end of May and have tried everything under the sun:- MG217 3% – liked it at first, but then noticed it discolored my forehead, making my skin appear sunburned. They have also discontinued the formula and went down to 0.5%- Berks – liked it at first, but after 4 weeks the 0.5% formula was overcome- Roycederm – is not a 2% formula, but a 0.5% formula- Tarsum – very strange, even though it says it’s a 2% formula, it did little. It’s probably best used as a leave-in product; I’m not sure how to do that without staining everything.- SEBCUR/T – the only product that could keep the psoriasis at bay for an extended period of time. However, the salicylic acid seemed to have a negative reaction with my face, causing skin lesions unless eczema cream was used to compensate. It also could not relief itch like Denorex.I’m praying that Denorex coal tar returns to the USA. And that the Canadian formula returns to Canada. This is one of my lifetime favorite products, and I think it can help bring confidence & relief to many people. Please bring it back!

I used to use this for a dry scalp as needed and it was great. Now I have allergy issues that cause crazy scalp itching. I searched a long time to find this again. It does make your scalp tingle and has a strong tar smell while applying it, but doesn’t smell after. It is still a great product even if much more expensive now. I just ordered a 2nd bottle.

GOOD PRODUCT @ A GOOD PRICE
The product is what I have been using for 2-3 years and works well. I do have a problem with the shipping message. The product (a 3 pack order) was shipped in a soft mailer type package. All 3 boxes were in bad shape when I opened the mailer; however non of the product was damaged althought it could have easily been damaged from the abuse the shipping package had taken. I would suggest you go back to the shipping method you have used the many times I have ordered this product–enclose in a box. Ken Curvin

Exactly like the original
The “coal tar” version of Denorex is the ONLY thing that has ever worked on my scalp psoriasis (even over prescription oils and such). My psoriasis was in “remission” for many years, and just started flaring up (stress/immune related), and I couldn’t find the “therapeutic“ kind (the coal-tar formula). ANYWAY, this is it. Smells the same, works great. My only complaint is the price.
