Perfect for tea and cooking with solid spices
I bought these primarily for cooking with whole spices that I did not want to include in the final dish. They work great for this purpose. You get all the flavor of the whole spices without them making their way into your bite. That deserves 5 stars in my opinion :)It can be used for loose leaf tea too.A comment on the packaging. Once I took them out of the bag to use them, the tails were all tangled and took 20 min to undo. Dropping down to 4 stars for this, although I’d give 4.5 if I could.

Good tea balls!!!
These seem to be more slightly durable than bought in the past. Different vendor/luck who knows. Chain entanglement, minor concern and depends largely on how much package is shaken and tossed around. First two i’ve used seem more durable than what i’ve bought in past. They work, and to me serve the purpose i bought them for!

Perfect tea ball for a cup of tea
The mesh is small and the ball holds about a teaspoon of tea leaves.

Not fancy, just practical. Good price.
It was nice to be able to buy these in bulk. They will make great gifts along with sample loose tea packets and honey sticks. They’re not shiny but they work. Some of the balls were more fidgety than others to close but they all closed. I like the clasp closure on these.

Don’t expect to use these more than a couple times. They quickly rust and fall apart.
