A very nice little journal
This is one of those journals that are both large enough to make use easy and small enough to be compact and portable. It should fit into many a bag and perhaps even some pockets.I could probably use a fountain pen safely with this paper (if I find one of said pens, I’ll be back to report how that worked). It’s ink-hungry, but hopefully won’t bleed through.The cover is faux leather, just as a reminder, but that faux leather puts in work. The color is vibrant and shouldn’t fade as long as it isn’t left in the sun or something of the sort.Definitely recommend.

Minor gripes, but a few of them…
On the whole, no real complaints for this notebook at this pricepoint ($10 at the time of order and review.) That isn’t to say that there weren’t issues, merely that what I encountered is either not likely to affect the average user, is easily overlooked, or is a little nitpicky.For my fellow fountain pen users out there, let’s not bury the lede—unfortunately, I can neither recommend strongly for or against on this one. The showthrough wasn’t too bad (about equivalent to 68 GSM Tomoe River paper,) feathering was a complete non-issue, and drying time was good. Having said that, I did note minor bleedthrough (tested with EF and B nibs, as well as with highlighters.) For that reason alone (especially given how much of the product page is spent touting the “bleedproof” paper) I personally would not re-order, but it might be minor enough as to not really bug you. See included photo for example.Overall construction was great and laid flat with no trouble throughout. The PU leather cover in particular looked nice and felt even better. Super smooth paper….but let’s go over some of my nitpicks here before you leave:- the front cover developed a bit of outward bowing, likely due to changes in humidity between warehousing and my home. Not something I usually see on notebooks.- the sticker sheets are too large to fit in the pocket at the back of the notebook. Such a little thing, but one that is quite telling. Also there was a “YOLO” sticker. Do people still say YOLO? Feels dated. Then again, they describe the stickers as “vintage” so maybe that was intentional.- if I’m honest, I felt the page design was quite busy and over-engineered. Feature rich, but… busy. If you draw a lot of tables in your notebooks you are likely to find these markings handy, though.

Great journal with good-quality, thick paper that prevents ink from bleeding through.
Great journal! Love the bluish-purple color of the cover, and it’s nice and sturdy. The lined pages are a nice quality paper and nice and thick – and it doesn’t bleed through when I use my gel pen. I like that it has the string bookmark to keep your place and the closure for the journal. You could use this for any reason – journaling at home or notetaking at work.

Gift worthy journal
This journal is beautiful and designed well enough for gift giving. I chose it to have beside my Bible to record my personal, inspired thoughts as I study, but I also write a lot of poetry, and this is a perfect vessel in which to record both. The hard cover and back are finished with linen-like fabric, and it has a delicate embossed design on the front. The paper is smooth; it is also a good weight and lined, and the lines are not so dark as to be distracting from handwritten words. I love there is a satin ribbon to hold my place as I write on each page and an elastic band to keep the journal closed when I finish my entry. I honestly want to handle this journal with gentle hands even though it is a sturdy book. I feel it calling to me to fill it with meaningful words and maybe a sketch or two. If you or someone you care about feels like I mentioned, you will want this journal, or you will want to gift this journal. It comes ready to gift at a reasonable price. There are some cute stickers included as well, which may lead even the young to be compelled to write in this beautiful book. I included a couple of pics, and I hope you find them helpful. YULLOT Lined Journal Notebook A5: Perfect for Journaling
This is a wonderful notebook for journals. It’s a hardbound A5 size journal and has all the features you need – lay-flat binding, storage pocket in the back, ribbon marker, an elastic band for closure, and even comes with stickers.The line spacing is 7mm wide which is college ruled and what I prefer. Another nifty feature is that the line on the bottom and the top have tiny, evenly spaced dots, which makes them perfect to use when you want to draw vertical lines to create sections. This is often present in many Asian brand notebooks like Kokuyo, and I really like this feature.I also like that this notebook comes in so many color choices and each color has a different gold-embossed design on the front. I received the Teal color, and it’s lovely.

Great value for a notebook journal
Great notebook with good spacing, quality paper weight. I like it that the book lays flat, making it easy to write in. The color is as shown on the website, a beautiful sage green. This notebook is a great value for the money!
