Generally Pretty Good Product
I really like this for a quick on the go smoothie. However, it doesn’t handle regular size ice well, it’s best to use small ice.

It doesn’t hold a charge.
The major drawback that defeats the purpose of a portable, rechargeable blender is the battery life. A fully charged unit is only good for 1-2 blends.While the blender does work when connected to power, if I have to plug it in every time, I’d rather just stick with a more powerful, traditional electric blender. For a rechargeable model, the battery performance is very disappointing.

Where do I even start? The blending power is close to zero they advertise that it can blend ice but can’t blend a frozen strawberry? Doesn’t hold a strong charge after three separate uses it’s back down to zero again. I end up having to empty half of my smoothie just to blend the other half. The worst I have ever had and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Can’t get this through TSA
The problem with this blender is that you can’t pack it in your carry-on luggage and get it through TSA. First, they will see the blade in the x-ray and so you’ll have to wait while they inspect it. And then when they see that the blade assembly is detachable they’ll tell you you’ll need to check it. This happened to me the first time I tried to take a trip with it.Other than that, the blender works well. It blends ice easily.

Wonderful little portable blender for on-the-go smoothies
I had no idea how incorrectly I’ve been making smoothies for the past 10 years until I got this blender. The included instructions tell you how to properly “build” a smoothie and I learned that I’ve been basically doing it almost backwards from the beginning of my smoothie ventures. I have had 2 other Nutribullet blenders; the original 600w and the upgraded 900w version. While I realize this is a portable blender, I know nothing about 7.4v compares to watts, and a quick search shows me the conversion but you have to know amperage, which is not specified. So, there is really no comparison between the other 2 Nutribullet blenders I have had since this is a completely different product and, as such, there is no direct way to compare. Obviously, this one is portable so it is significantly less powered than the countertop products I have owned in the past. Still, the product quality is on par with other Nutribullet products and this makes a decent smoothie if you need to make a smoothie on the go since it offers portability.It’s not my go-to blender for a smoothie at home (I’ll use one of my countertop blenders for those) but, when we travel to visit family and I want to still have a smoothie as a meal replacement, or want to provide a treat for the kids, this is a must-have. This packs easily in an overnight bag and we drive everywhere so it’s not a problem. I don’t know if it would make it through an airport bag check. For the price, it’s well worth it considering how flexible it is. I do find I can’t make as thick of a smoothie as I usually do because the motor can’t handle it so I just add in a few extra splashes of coconut water and it works just fine.
