Great blender that has a glass blending jar!
This blender has plenty of power. I use it almost every day to make my morning smoothies. It does bog down a bit when I use too many frozen fruit pieces. But that is my operation error. As with any blender, the amount of liquid vs the amount of food to be blended must be correct. I love, love the glass blending jar. This is the main purpose of choosing this blender. I try to eliminate as much plastics from my life as I can. The blender also comes with a plastic travel smoothie cup that you can attach to the blending blade and blend your smoothie right in the cup. The travel cup has a travel lid with sip spout. I haven’t used the plastic cup and most likely won’t, but it would be useful if you do not have an aversion to plastics. This blender is a bit loud. It is very loud and ear splitting on high and part of the smoothy function. I use that speed briefly, but daily. I have been using this blender for over 5 months and it still works as good as the first time. I purchased this to replace my older Oster blender that could not keep up with all the frozen fruit. That blender, too, had a glass blending jar. I looked at some of the more popular brands but passed due to the plastic blending jar. I am happy with my purchase.

This Fantastic Blender Makes the “Bullets” Look Stupid!
After almost two years fighting and shelling out $ for the “Bullets” (Nutri-Bullet and Magic Bullet) and all the related pieces (tops, blades, rims, etc.), I purchased the Oster Pro 1200 here on Amazon, and wow, what a difference!First of all, this is just half the cost of a Bullet, and you don’t need to pay for all the accessories. Second, this thing has huge power. Most of what I blend are nutritional sports smoothies that involve lots of ice, frozen fruit, and protein powder. With the Oster Pro 1200, no problem! Even if you don’t blend immediately after adding the Almond Milk, the whole thing can turn into a hard packed ice block, it still works great.In fact, it has a pre-programmed “smoothie” function: turn the blender on, hit the “smoothie” button, and the blender launches into a sequence of short bursts, backwards, forwards, and then wraps up with a long forward blend sequence. Voila! Perfect smoothie every time. And big quantity too. I can fill up almost 2x the 24 oz. cups that come with the unit by filling the entire vessel with ingredients, and somehow it blends everything up nicely.But here is the best part – it works without hassle or making a mess. The Bullets are always leaking when the bottom twists off while blending. The bullets sometimes stop working if they get overworked/over heated. The Bullets have limited capacity, and heaven help you if you fill a Bullet up to too much before blending – what a mess. To enjoy your smoothie from the Bullets, you have to take the blades off first, and that can get messy. With the Oster Pro 1200 here is what you have to do to enjoy your soothie: take the top off! Yes, that’s it. No BS.So I highly recommend you “dodge the Bullets” and order the Oster Pro 1200. Plenty of power. The Oster people are experts in blending. The Bullet people are experts in marketing.

Great blender, but no extra blade!
The main reason I needed a blender was for making salsas. I really wanted a glass cup, and this one has a glass cup and is amazing, easy to clean, and better than plastic cups. I also wanted to be able to add ingredients carefully to the mix, and this has it all.You just have to be careful with hot items, but everything is under control. My last blender got damaged for this reason since it locked and you couldn’t open it to let the hot air out.It is very easy to use, has great capacity, and blends smoothly, just like I like it. Of course, it is noisy, but I do not mind this.The thing that I dislike and that I’m very unhappy about is that I ordered this blender because it had an extra cup for to-go smoothies, but you have to share the blades with the cup. My other blender, for almost the same price, had extra blades. I didn’t buy the same blender because, like I said, it was plastic and I wanted glass. I guess you can’t have everything in life, lol.Other than that, this is a very good blender; I just really wish it had two. I might buy another set of blades for the extra cup.

I was hesitant to purchase based on some of the low reviews but am thrilled to report this is the best blender I have ever owned for making smoothies. No leaks, not hard to turn the bottom piece off, and overall real easy to use. Love it!

Salió muy buena, llevo 2 años con ella y todo va muy bien. El vaso es muy útil para los licuados. El motor va bien, le compré el seguro y afortunadamente no lo he tenido qué utilizar. La recomiendo. Licúa bastante bien, varias velocidades y algunas funciones hacen que sea reversible. Coincide bien con la descripción. En su momento llegó bien empacada.

Es muy potente, la compré para hacer los jugos de verduras y licuados, ya que mi actual Oster, aunque todavía funciona muy bien, no tiene la potencia de moler todo eso, y está indudablemente lo hace excelente, con la función de Green/Frozen smoothies queda todo perfectamente molido para beber sin masticar jeje, aunque para moler en función normal, si he visto que pueden quedar atorados pedazos de jitomate, por ejemplo, porque el diámetro del fondo es de esos nuevos más ancho, pero eso yo lo soluciono sin problemas, para el motivo que la compré estoy completamente satisfecha con el producto, es Oster, por lo que espero que sea muy duradera, como la que aún tengo que ya tiene más de 20 años! Esta es mi marca y aunque sé que eso no le conviene a la empresa, y pues si dudo que ya duren tanto, espero que no sea el caso. La recomiendo ampliamente

Primero que nada el precioLa encontré a un súper precio $2085 (+o-)SegundaEs una licuadora de una calidad excelente, yo conocía el modelo porque en unas cafeterías que trabaje la tenían y era buenisima, hace el hielo como si fuera smootie 🙈TerceraLlego rapidísimo, tarde más en concretar mi pedido que en lo que llegoLes cuento mi experiencia, ese mismo artículo pero en lugar del vaso para licuados, con el procesador de alimentos, lo pedí en Walmart on line , pero después de varios días me lo cancelaron , allá me había costado 2400 (+o-), estaba muy enojado porque aparte de que me cancelaron la compra no me devolvían mi efectivo, entre a ver a Amazon y veo la oferta (que compré) y de inmediato la aparte , fui y reclame en la otra empresa hasta que me devolvieron mi dinero, me lo devolvieron y de inmediato pague , al otro día llegoEstoy totalmente satisfecho, estoy tan satisfecho que los reyes de mis hijos los pedí por aquí y una batería de cocina también la pedí por aquíSiempre me ha gustado comprar en Amazon , porque es económico y rapidísimo
