Great insert
This is a great pillow insert. I like the look/feel of down but the poking feathers are really annoying and they just mush and stay mushed—this alternative one is great! It’s heavy, soft, fluffy, chops well, and seems like it’ll be sturdy and hold up to couch naps and dogs. I went with the actual size of the cover at first per reviews and they were a little too small, so I wound up sizing 1 up and they’re perfect. 22×22 in a 20×20 cover and 24×24 in a 22×22 cover. Easily the nicest insert I’ve bought! Will be a repeat buyer as I get more pillows.

Fabulous!
I don’t buy these pillows to sleep on, so technically I can’t really provide a review in that regard. I buy them to use for my decorative pillow covers. If you want them for that sort of thing, they are absolutely fabulous. Even though these are synthetic, they tend to feel like actual down and they have a nice fullness and weight to them. That’s what I love the most is the weight and thickness of them. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a different pillow insert now than this brand.

An objectively good all around pillow
I’ve been cycling through throw insert vendors on here and Pillowflex was one of the last I hadn’t tried due to the reviews being all over the place. Then I got a single cover with an odd sized insert and figured, “well…”Pillow arrived in a plastic bag marked with a notice “Vacuum sealed! Do not open! Will expand on opening!” I opened the end flap and the pillow asserted itself by expanding slightly. I pulled it out of the bag, gave it a shake or two, and it expanded another 10-15%. It resisted being stuffed (and not in a good way, think liquid-filled stress ball) into a pillowcase 2×2 smaller, and afterwards was put into the dryer on low for 30 minutes.Upon removal from the dryer it hadn’t inflated much more and now fills the case very nicely, picture-perfect almost. The heft is substantial without being overbearing. The pillow gives under pressure but eventually provides support. It rebounds quite nicely, lands with a gentle thud when tossed, and is somewhat reminiscent of actual down.Objectively, by the metrics, and all around – this pillow is about perfect. I can’t really find a flaw or fault with it. Good engineering and a good value for the price. It’s likely to perform for you unless you need something really flat.Subjectively, the best way I can describe it is that this pillow tries to do everything well and falls into some sort of weird pillow uncanny valley. Like that liquid-filled stress ball I mentioned earlier. It’s cool and it works, but it just doesn’t feel… natural…

Good quality, made in the USA
We wanted pillow inserts made in the USA a down alternative option and reasonable pricing. These inserts are good quality and sufficiently filled. They hold their shape, don’t require lots of fluffing, yet can be “styled” as desired. We ordered (3) different sizes, all lumbar inserts. We opted to order 2” longer than the shams, but equal height (i.e. 12×24 sham, 12×26 insert) to allow for a full sham but not a stuffed look. In our search for the best look, we ordered a couple of sizes we didn’t use and returns were simple. We are happy with our purchase and would recommend these pillow inserts.

Perfect little pillow
Perfect little pillow for travel or an actually comfortable decorative pillow. I haven’t used used it yet but the texture seems similar to my normal bed feather pillow and the size is perfect for traveling – not too big but not so small that it adds no true comfort.

Though delivery took a while but the wait is worthwhile. Had been searching for quite some time & finally found these soft, plushy, yet do not ‘deflate’ cushions for my sofa & armchair. Bought 6 pcs in 3 different shipments. Recommended.

Delivery took 3 weeks for first cushion to arrive. Still waiting for the remaining piece though order was placed together. Glad to have found the “karate chop” cushion. Soft & fluffy, yet not “deflating” like most synthetic fill fiber. Plan to buy again if it is lower price.

Big but plush – lots of give so you sink into it. Great if you want to have the head cradled to prevent bad neck movements at night.
