A beautiful and useful object for your desk
I like collecting items of good industrial design: Things that are useful and beautiful at the same time, and this timer fits the bill. What a fun little thing to have on my desk. It’s a beautiful object, with a crisp, colorful screen that dims to better function as a background timer. It does what it’s meant to: Count down, and it does so with style. It also has a clock and an automatic Pomodoro feature that they hilariously call the “Ticktime technique” as if they invented it. It even lights up a little tomato when you’re using it. Haven’t had a chance to test the battery life, but I’ll update this review if I have any issues.

My preferred pomodoro timer despite the useless base
I’m not quite sure it’s worth the price I paid, especially given that the charging base is basically a plastic case with dummy buttons and could easily be removed from the product design given the little value it provides, but the main unit is very useful. I’ve used the cheaper (and smaller) version but I much prefer this unit for its larger display and the mechanical display that rotates when the unit is turned.It’s just as useful for the Pomodoro technique as the smaller cheaper version as it only has a basic kitchen timer beep or a vibration mode.The display does get stuck sometimes, preventing the timer from triggering. It’s easy to fix but perhaps an improvement that could be added to future versions.I’ve deducted one star for the mostly useless base and the occassionally problematic mechanically rotating display.

A Great Productivity Tool!
This pomodoro clock has been a GREAT addition to my workday, keeping me on track and on task. It’s very intuitive and easy to use, and also has preset timers. Need a 10 minute countdown? Turn it so the 10 is pointing up! 30 minutes? Point 30 up. You get the idea. The pomodoro function is just as easy to use, and the 25 minutes of work followed by 5 minutes of break time works wonders for productivity. Very high quality, and the volume is just right – or it also has a vibrate setting.

Timer Cube that just works.
This tool does exactly what it says on the tin. I use it as a timer that isn’t possible to be a distraction. If I use my phone for timers it tempts me to look at everything else on my phone. The only downside is that the buttons are not programmable for custom timers, which would be awesome. All-in-all it works every time and has had 0 issues. It also has a retro look mixed with digital.

I’ve been wanting a Pomodoro cube for a while and this Ticktime TK3 Pomodoro seemed like the ultimate version of one, so I was excited to give it a go. Right out of the box, I loved it. The look was awesome and it was pretty straightforward for basic usage. The base is a great touch and the buttons have a satisfying click. The whole thing is nice quality and really feels like it is a well-designed product.Once I got the initial playing around with it out of the way, I went and plugged in the base at my desk. I was shocked and excited when I found out that it not only charged the cube, it makes the buttons light up when clicked too. Another thing that fascinated me is that the screen is actually not a screen, but a weighted fixed display that literally spins when the cube is rotated. I thought it was just a screen that did a software rotation, but the hardware actually spins inside the cube itself. I read the instructions to understand a little more of the functionality and that’s when it really started to become useful.It is able to do different volumes and a vibrate mode, which is great when I bring it into the office and don’t want to disturb the people around me. You can set simple timers as labeled on the sides, but you can also switch to the Pomodoro technique mode where it does 25 minute working sessions followed by 5 minute breaks. and automatically switches back and forth for 2 hours. This is great because you can set it and go and it is motivating to aim for 25 minutes of work and then you can stop. For me, it helps get over the initial hill of starting a task.Overall, this is a pricey Pomodoro cube, but it is really excellent in every regard. I personally think it is worth the cost for something that has a really nice form and function and I enjoy seeing it on my desk. If you’re looking for an awesome Pomodoro cube, this is an excellent choice!

Good Timers but Military Time Only
The size and magnet strength are both good and this timer is a great size for the desktop. The timers work well and were the easiest part to figure out. That being said – I did not find this generally easy to use. The learning curve is too steep for me. I am constantly confused about what button I am supposed to be pushing, how to stop this, how to start that, etc. The functionality would be good but there are just too many buttons to figure out. Also, I absolutely hate military time and the fact that you cannot change it from military time makes it not as useful to me. I do not want to do any math to figure out what time it is on quick glance.

Love this device. I take it back and forth to work. Keeps my feeling of time pressure under control by ensuring I can focus completely on something and know how much time I will “lose” in the process. Battery lasts a good amount of time. Base is unnecessary. I like the different timescale options and how easy it is to start a times session. Small gripe: Pomodoro technique is fiddly to use.

…is it the cheapest probably not however it is very good…I bought a couple different cheap ones of AliExpress trying to find something…I should have just bought this from the start, the roll over function is great. The Pomodoro although part of the sales pitch is kind of a secondary function…it is super easy to get to and comes pre programmed but it is kind of odd…you start the 5 minute timer then long press a button and it puts it in Pomodoro mode…works great though…I love the display and the colours count down ring is cool…well worth the money

Wer kennt es nicht: Man nimmt sich vor, noch eine halbe oder ganze Stunde etwas zu machen – und schon ist die Zeit verflogen. Genau dafür habe ich mir diesen Timer-Würfel geholt und muss sagen, er ist wirklich praktisch.Der Würfel bietet Timer-Funktionen für 5, 10, 30 und 60 Minuten. Man dreht ihn einfach in die gewünschte Richtung, und schon läuft die Zeit. Die Anzeige ist wie bei einem Geocode, dreht sich entsprechend mit und lässt sich jederzeit gut ablesen. Zusätzlich hat man auch eine Uhr-Funktion, wenn man den Timer gerade nicht nutzt.Sehr praktisch finde ich auch das Ladepodest. Man kann den Würfel einfach daraufstellen, um ihn aufzuladen, oder auch ohne Podest verwenden. Die Anzeige ist schön hell und gut erkennbar. Wenn man den Timer beenden will, dreht man den Würfel einfach wieder zurück auf die Uhr – super simpel.Ein kleiner Minuspunkt ist der Akku: Mit ein bis zwei Wochen Laufzeit hätte ich mir hier ein bisschen mehr Ausdauer gewünscht. Alles in allem bin ich aber sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.Von mir gibt’s eine Kaufempfehlung und 4 Sterne.
