Too loud, doesn’t seem to be built as well as past versions of this model.
This is my 5th or 6th Cuisinart blender in this model. When my last one died, as I have done many times before, I got this as a replacement bc I have so many of the jars left over from my other Cuisinart blenders that I still want to use regularly. I need a lot of duplicate jars bc I make healthier versions of dressings & other foods using Greek yogurt now, daily smoothies w fresh fruit, etc., and there are always one or two in the dishwasher, rotating thru the lineup.I’m sorry I didn’t switch yet. This version is so, so loud! None of the others were anywhere near this loud, this is closer to lawn mower loud – it’s just awful.

Good Value, Nice Design
Good everyday blender with a nice looking, modern chrome design. Works well on most items, but does have a feature that triggers when you try to blend frozen fruit (such as for a smoothie). The feature shuts the unit off to prevent overheating, but can also be annoying as it sometimes prevents you from using it again for 15-20 minutes. Otherwise, it’s great and works well.

Smart Power Blender
This is a superb blender from Cuisinart. This is a replacement for a Cuisinart that we bought over 20 years ago and it decided it was time to be replaced because the clutch mechanism failed what I particularly like about this one that I bought is I wanted a glass mixing bowl? I did not want plastic, and here we go exactly what I wanted and I will be on our kitchen counter hopefully for another 25 years.

Doesn’t really blend and is extremely loud
this blender does not blend well, takes a long time and it leaves pieces untouched. The second problem it has is that it is extremely loud in the “pure” setting which seems to stand for blend, t” liquify” he fastest setting is impossible to use, it splatters all the contents inside the jar and the noise is like having a jackhammer in your kitchen

Lo bueno:Esta coqueta la licuadora, la jarra de vidrio es más gruesa que las que venden en los supermercados, los botones son muy cómodos, funciona correctamente. Y afortunadamente llegó entera.Lo malo:Costosa para ser de plástico la carcasa del motor.Hace ruido aunque no como las tradicionales.Llego en una caja un poco grande, por lo que llevaba riesgo de quebrarse, no traía ningún tipo de protección: unisel o bolsa de burbuja.

We bought this to replace the exact same blender that we purchased 25 years ago. That one was working well but melted when someone turned on the wrong burner on our stove. This one is quite a bit louder than that old model and heats up more but, as we were so happy with the first one, we decided to stick to the same brand/model. It’s excellent for smoothies, sauces and soups so far. Haven’t tried anything else yet. It’s easy to clean and looks nice.

No tiene potencia, todo queda mal molido hasta en la última velocidad, ni aunq lo deje un buen rato. No la recomiendo. Solo el vaso está muy cómodo, es amplio y fácil de lavar.

I like the Cuisinart blenders since they are glass and not plastic. Easier to clean and more durable. Blends quick and fast and very easy to clean for easy maintenance.

Item arrived broken – glass was chipped and plastic top was broken. item was marked us opened but like new – no damage. very disappointed.
